General healthcare & safety guidelines
To help minimise the risk of spreading infections, including COVID-19 other respiratory viruses, we request all attendees to follow these common-sense hygiene practices:
Hygiene & personal care
- Wash your hands with soap and water more frequently than usual, especially when travelling.
- Carry hand sanitiser and use it after touching public surfaces (e.g., handrails, ticket machines, push-buttons, door handles).
- Wash your hands thoroughly before entering the venue and regularly throughout the event.
- Wearing a face mask is advisable, though not compulsory.
Coughs and sneezes
- Do not sneeze or cough into your bare hands.
- Use a clean tissue to cover your mouth and nose, dispose of it safely, and wash your hands immediately.
- If no tissue is available, sneeze or cough into your elbow to help prevent the spread of droplets.
Participation of high-risk individuals
To protect the health and safety of all attendees:
- If you are from, or have recently travelled to, a high-risk area, or if you suspect you may have a respiratory or other infection (even mild symptoms), please do not register for in-person attendance. We would be happy to welcome you at a future event.
- If you feel unwell prior to the conference, please consult your healthcare provider and opt for virtual participation.
- For the safety of others, any attendee displaying flu-like symptoms during the event may be asked to leave.
