Case Study 4 – Medium-sized event – Conference management for a multinational publisher:
The Client:
A major multinational supplier of biomedical reagents and equipment
Tasks:
To manage a non-residential workshop at a University of Oxford affiliate college:
o For approximately 100 participants
o Held over a day
o With networking dinner
The customer wanted us to:
o Hold their workshop back-to-back with one of our own events
o Set up a dedicated workshop with online registration
o Arrange networking dinner for their delegates before their workshop
o Assist with catering arrangements/menus
o Point of contact for delegates for any logistical queries
o Backdrop arrangements and site preparation, including IT/AV equipment and WiFi
o Open the event; make health and safety announcement and any additional announcements on behalf of the company
o Clear out after the event
Conclusion:
This project was completed to the customer’s satisfaction, meeting all set goals. Here are a few words from the organisers of the workshop:
