Presentation agreement for conference participants
By agreeing to participate and present at this event, all contributors, including speakers, poster presenters, sponsors, exhibitors, and advertisers, confirm their acceptance of the following terms. If you have any questions, or if you prefer that your presentation not be disclosed in a particular format, please notify us at the time of submitting your presentation materials.
Ownership and copyright
The copyrights, patent rights, and ownership of oral and poster presentations and submitted abstracts (collectively referred to as “the presentations” and “the abstracts”) remain with the presenter(s) and original copyright holder(s). However, by participating in this event, the presenter(s) and copyright holder(s)—including authors, their employers, or any other parties with legal claim to the work—agree to the following terms, applicable worldwide and for the full duration of the copyright, including any extensions or renewals:
- You confirm that you have the legal right to present this work at the event.
- Your presentation does not infringe upon any third-party copyrights or intellectual property rights. If your presentation includes copyrighted material, you have obtained the necessary written permissions from the original copyright holder(s).
- You have taken all reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy of the content and have adhered to ethical standards concerning the use of chemical or biological materials, and/or animal or human subjects.
- You accept full responsibility for any legal claims arising from infringement of third-party rights.
- You agree to indemnify the organisers against any costs, expenses, or legal fees resulting from a breach of this agreement.
Licence to the organisers
By submitting your presentation and/or abstract, you grant the organisers and their successors a royalty-free licence to:
- Record, publish, distribute, promote, market, and sell your presentation and/or abstract at any time, in any format—individually or as part of a collective work—in print, electronic, or future media.
- Translate your presentation and/or abstract into other languages.
- Add subtitles in any language.
- Include sign language interpretation for accessibility purposes.
