By Air, train and coach to Oxford: Oxford’s convenient and central location, its excellent rail and road links with the rest of the UK, and its close proximity to several international airports offers an easy access from Europe, Americas and the rest of the world. Therefore, arriving at Oxford from anywhere in the world couldn’t be more straightforward. Oxford is in the centre of the UK and has inexpensive bus links (Oxford Tube, Oxford CityLink/Airline, National Express) with Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton airports and with Birmingham. Heathrow airport offers the easiest access to Oxford via the Airline Bus Service.
Easy access to London: Oxford is linked to London by the M40 motorway that carries two frequent bus services (Oxford Tube, Oxford CityLink) while the train from Oxford to London’s Paddington station takes less than an hour, making the cultural and night life of the capital easily accessible.
By car to Oxford: There is no parking at the congress venue. If you intend to travel by car you may park your car at any of several Park and Ride car parks located around Oxford and travel into Oxford using the public transport. Further information about Park & Ride car parks is also available on the City of Oxford website. Oxford is accessible via A40 at junction 8/8A on M40 (Use a Route Planners for other journeys: eg, RAC Route Planner; AA Route Planner).
By taxi in Oxford: There are a number of licensed taxi operators in Oxford: Radiotaxis (+1865 242424), ABC Taxis (+1865 770077, +1865 775577), 001 Taxis (+1865 240000) Royal Cars (+1865 777333). There is a taxi rank near Gloucester Green Bus Station and outside Oxford Train Station.
